WILDLIFE AND NATURE

 

Watching a heron stalk its prey,
standing fencepost still in the shallows of a lake,
or awaiting an eagle to
descend from a tree,
to swoop down and strike it's catch
in the icy cold river,
is a real study in patience.
As these birds patiently wait,
I also wait, patiently.
